In Kenya, partner MYSA has managed to enroll some of the athletes with disabilities in schools. By including them in outreach activities, parents were convinced of the abilities of their children and were sensitized about the possibilities of enrolling their children in schools.
In Githurai slum area, one of the coaches even convinced the local authorities of opening a special unit in a mainstream school to give 20 children with disabilities an opportunity for schooling.
